To stay open when my body wants to close is something that I’m constantly working on. An also, I have a short temper and a sensitive soul. My practice helps me to see my fears, my self-judgements, my feelings of not being good enough. Instead of hiding, when I feel like that bubbles up, I try to feel it without becoming it. I remind myself that everything is perfect just as it is.
Yoga practice brought so much joy to my life and taught me to stay humble. The sweetest part of this practice for me is how to allow myself to be, at once, with my breath in the here & now. And why did I become a teacher? Because I wanted to give that feeling to others – it almost feels like awareness. I work with the healing mechanisms of yoga and movement to illuminate the felt sense and embody the higher truths of the body-mind
